Mike is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), qualifying in 1984 and moving from practice into industry in 1994. He has worked across Construction, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Recycling and Facilities Management, in organisations ranging from PLCs to owner-managed businesses. His technical expertise spans management and statutory accounts, internal and external audit, cashflow management, budgeting and forecasting, corporate tax, and company secretarial work, alongside experience negotiating with external financiers. He’s particularly skilled at presenting financial information to management without a financial background, translating technical detail into terms they can act on..
